“This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Isn’t this a wonderful way to begin a day? No matter what the circumstances are in our lives, we can purpose to open our eyes and begin each day knowing that there is a plan that is for our good. Now I cannot deny that bad things happen to good people but it is how we handle those bad things that determine our attitude toward life.
Most people pray on some level. Even people who say that they do not believe in God or any other god will use the word prayer when they are hoping for something to go their way. They say things like “I pray that I’ll get the job”. Pray to whom is the question that I ask? We pray because we believe that there is someone, somewhere listening who has the ability to answer us.
The new fiction club story is about to start! After each chapter, we will need readers to vote on the direction of the story. The result of the first Women’s Fiction Club group writing challenge became the eBook Save Angelina which is currently available for free at most retail online outlets. The title of the new novella is Bound: Part One of the Kersten Powell Chronicles. First chapter to read and vote on will be made available April 5th! Join Women’s Fiction Club on Facebook to be a part of the discussions with the author and other readers.

Last week I attended the funeral or rather the “home going” service for one whom I deem a great man. The celebration of his life was more than inspirational to me. He was a man who knew who he was and why he was here. Because he knew and went about fulfilling his destiny, he touched the lives of many including me. He made this world a better place and caused those he touched to be better people.
This little book is a profound demonstration of God’s power and of true faith in action. It is a guidebook for learning how to pray Scripture, filled with eighty-nine weekly Prayer Sheets for your marriage — eighty-nine pages of power that will change your life and the lives of all those around you, as you too learn to always pray and not give Up! Testimonials “Praying Scripture is the most powerful and effective way to pray for your marriage. It can be a daunting task to search out all the passages that apply, though. In this book, Tammy has done the hard work for us in compiling a beautiful arrangement of God’s attributes along with verses to pray for myself, as a wife, and verses to pray over my husband and marriage. The Lord has used many of these passages to bear fruit in my own life and marriage.” Mariel Davenport , Author Knowing God Through His Names A Housewife Desperate for God “Tammy Rentsch is passionate about prayer. She prays faithfully and frequently. She is also committed to loving her spouse enough to pray for their marriage. Read this book and you will be equipped and encouraged to pray consistently and powerfully for your marriage with the Scriptures as your guide.” Brian D. God Doesn't Love Us All The Same, by Nina Guilbeau
Janine Harris never really thought about homeless people. She barely even notices them as she passes them by on her way to work in downtown Washington D.C. All Janine can focus on is the shambles of her own young life, afraid that she will never be able to get past the painful mistakes she has made. However, all of that changes on a snowy evening in December when Janine unexpectedly finds herself alone with Vera, an old, homeless woman who seems to need her help. Now Janie wants to know what could have possibly happened to Vera to leave her so broken and alone.
As Vera shares her life story with Janine, the two women form an unusual bond and begin a journey that changes both of their lives forever. Reluctantly, they each confront their own past and, in the process, discover the true meaning of sacrifice, family and love. Although to truly move forward in their lives, they must fast the most difficult challenge of all – forgiving themselves.
